The Abinam Journey

I’m Viji, Founder of Abinam Healthcare Private Limited & Abinam Farms Private Limited.

I was born in 1978 in Avalpoondurai, a small village in Erode District. Poverty shaped my childhood. I studied only until 8th standard and began working as a child laborer at 13 in a Tirupur hosiery unit.

For two years, I walked to work every day because I couldn’t afford a bicycle. Saving rupee by rupee, I finally bought one for ₹300. That bicycle became my first victory — proof that determination can change destiny.

Life taught me what schools couldn’t: resilience, responsibility, and purpose.

    – Vaiyam Properties (2007)

    After years of living in rented homes, I understood how deeply people dream of owning a home. At age 29, I founded Vaiyam Properties with one mission — to help families build their own homes. Today, more than 1,000 families live in houses we helped create. That journey taught me a simple truth: Those who struggle understand how to help others struggle less.

  • Telling Stories That Matter

    Vaiyam Medias (2016)

    In 2016, I entered Tamil cinema through Vaiyam Medias, producing Uru and product and directing Ezhumin. Cinema allowed me to tell stories of ordinary people rising through determination — stories of hope, resilience, and courage. But my deeper purpose was still evolving.

    Growing up poor taught me something painful: When you lack money, you also lack access to good food, proper nutrition, and real wellness. In 2021, I founded Abinam Healthcare & Abinam Farms with a clear mission: To make pure food, honest wellness, and authentic puja products accessible to every family.
